On My Honor (Unfinished Film, ca. 1959), John Jensen Group of (58) Concept Sketches and (250+) Prints. Vintage group of (58) concept sketches by John Jensen rendered in ink on artist vellum measuring approx. 12" x 9". The collection also includes (250+) prints of the sketches, reproduced in either blue or brown ink, on art paper measuring 11" x 8.5". John Jensen was tasked with creating the concept designs for the action adventure film, based on a completed treatment by Jesse L. Lasky, Jr. The story was based on the military career of Lord Robert Baden-Powell (the founder of the world Scouting movement). After DeMille's untimely death in 1959, the film was put on hold, though attempts to resuscitate the project by Henry Wilcoxon kept it alive into the mid 60's. Wilcoxon even hired screenwriter Sydney Box (The Seventh Veil) to complete the script, but the project never came to fruition. Artworks exhibit production wear, toning, creasing, and minor tearing.
