The Ten Commandments (Paramount, 1956), Ralph Jester Group of (3) Costume Concept Artworks. Vintage group of (3) costume artworks by Ralph Jester rendered in gouache and graphite on art board measuring 15" x 20" each including (1) Nassura (Joyce Vanderveen) costume sketch from the "Well of Median" scene, (1) Young Miriam/Slave Child (Babette Bain) costume sketch from the "River Bank" and "Bithias Pavilion" scenes, and (1) Dancer (various) costume sketch from "Golden Calf" sequence. These captivating works feature the original color annotations and corresponding fabric swatches. Each piece is signed by the artist and C.B. DeMille. The vibrant Nassura artwork was highlighted in the expansive book Cecil B. DeMille: The Art of the Hollywood Epic. Pieces exhibit production wear including toning, staining, edge wear, pin holes, archival tape, and mat staining on edges. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
