The Crusades (Paramount, 1935), Group of (3) Costume and Prop Sketches. Vintage group of (3) concept artworks including (1) "Nobleman" costume sketch (artist unknown) rendered in watercolor and graphite on art paper measuring 14.5" x 23", (1) "Woman of the Streets" costume sketch by Natalie Visart rendered in gouache and graphite on heavy art paper measuring 15" x 22", and (1) "Miscellaneous Lances" prop concept sketch (artist unknown) rendered in watercolor and ink on art board measuring 15" x 20". Artworks all feature original production annotations. Several DeMille artists worked uncredited on costume sketches for the historical epic including Visart, Ralph Jester, and Travis Banton. DeMille's initials appear on the upper right of "Miscellaneous Lances" sketch. Artworks exhibit production wear, toning, staining, and minor edge wear. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
