The Crusades (Paramount, 1935), Dan Sayre Groesbeck Character Concept Artwork. Vintage artwork created by Dan Sayre Groesbeck rendered in charcoal on art board and measuring 33.25" x 26.75". Character concept artwork featuring a pivotal moment between King Richard (Henry Wilcoxon) and Saladin (Ian Keith) before agreeing upon a truce. Groesbeck worked closely with DeMille on concept art for his films until 1950 when his poor health forced him to retire. Exhibits production wear. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
