Kiki's Delivery Service (Studio Ghibli, 1989), "Kiki" Production Cel. Original hand-painted production cel measuring 14" x 9" marked "A-6" on the top right corner with three pinholes across the top edge featuring a wide shot of the adventurous junior witch, Kiki, staring up into the sky while holding her flying broom. Studio Ghibli, founded in 1985 by the renowned animator and filmmaker, Hayao Miyazaki, is responsible for bringing to life some of the most beloved animated classics of all time. Known for their distinct and whimsical style, often featuring magical and spiritual undertones, Ghibli has made a definitive mark on the animation industry and brought their unique vision to the world. Included with the lot is an original 14.25" x 10" blank animation drawing page with 3-peg holes across the top edge marked "B-11" in graphite. Cel exhibits light production use and handling wear with a clear plastic sheet having separated it from the drawing page for archival purposes. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
