Star Wars: Episode V- The Empire Strikes Back (TCF, 1980), Behind-the-Scenes (80+) Production Photos. Vintage original (80+) black and white, single and double weight, glossy and matte finish [plus (1) color] proprietary production behind the scenes photos. Majority measure 8" x 10", with just (2) measuring 5" x 7", depicting a wide variety of set and spacecraft construction, plus cast and crew staging for shots and placements, primarily of, and in and around, the Millennium Falcon spacecraft. In addition to production crew, images include Harrison Ford (Han Solo), Carrie Fisher (Princess Leia), Billy Dee Williams, (Lando Calrissian), Anthony Daniels (C-3PO), Kenny Baker (R2-D2) and Peter Mayhew (Chewbacca). Director Irvin Kershner is also depicted in a several shots. There may be a handful of duplicate images included. A significant number bear the verso studio proprietary stamp, "© LFL 1980 LUCASFILM LTD. ALL RIGHTS RESERVED" plus a production-affixed verso sticker denoting image code and storage location for internal filing/archiving. Production handling, wear, and minor staining varies throughout from on-set reference use, though the majority remain relatively issue-free. It is presumed that most, if not all images contained herein remain unpublished and undistributed. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
