Gavin MacLeod "Captain Merrill Stubing" Black Formal 2-pc Suit, Tuxedo Shirt and Tie from The Love Boat (ABC TV, 1977-1986). "Merrill Stubing" black, two-piece formal suit including a black, double-breasted jacket with gold buttons, loops on the shoulders for epaulettes, and fully lined in navy blue satin, matching black pants, a white tuxedo shirt with French cuffs and pleated front, and a black strap-on bow tie. The suit has internal Davis Clothing Co. maker's labels with the jacket pocket's internal label handwritten "G.M." in black ink, the shirt has an internal Asten maker's embroidered name with handwritten notation "1 SP" in faint black ink. The shirt exhibits some toning commensurate with age and production use but all the pieces remain in very good vintage condition overall. Acquired from Mr. Gavin MacLeod.
