The Fifth Element (Gaumont, 1997), Federated Army Warship Filming Miniature. Large original spacecraft miniature measuring 123" x 48" x 25" constructed of fiberglass, resin, and polystyrene with steel substructure, fiber optics and internal electronics to illuminate the ship on screen (electronics untested). Bearing a resemblance between a modern aircraft carrier and Star Destroyer from Star Wars, the ship is detailed on the top, front, rear, and port side. The starboard side was intentionally unfinished (viewing this side on screen was achieved by flipping the film); the bottom side was never seen on screen. 6-mounting points were installed at the top for the model to be suspended from the ceiling. Exhibits production wear, including paint loss, missing and loose parts (to photograph the ship, the loose conning tower was set up by hand, so repair is needed for permanent display), and some tech elements protruding at the front need to be reaffixed.
