Batman 89 Kodak Prototype Lenticular Backlit Posters (Kodak/DC Comics, 1989). A rare glimpse into the fusion of cinematic innovation and superhero mystique, this Batman lot contains two prototype lenticular backlit posters created by Kodak and DC Comics in 1989 to promote the groundbreaking visual power of Tim Burton's Batman. Released as part of a limited demonstration campaign aimed at movie industry insiders, these 16 by 20 inch Duratrans posters showcase Kodak's extreme 3-D Photographic Technology, capturing the iconic Kenner action figure version of Batman in dramatic, shifting detail as the image transforms with movement. Designed to impress and inspire, the posters present Batman in a bold new visual format that echoed the film's reimagining of Gotham's legendary protector.
