Bob Jenney "Frankenstein #1" (Dell, 1963), Complete 32-Page Artwork. Vintage original, complete 32-page artwork accomplished on 15" x 20" artist's leaf. Art image area ranges from 12.25" x 15.5" to 12.25" x 17.75". The story begins with distinct connection to the movie source material with Dr. Frankenstein and Fritz conducting their experiments. Once the Monster rises, the tale takes a left turn. The verso of each retains a red "Dell Comics" ink stamp with "Frankenstein #1" and the page number handwritten. The title on the first page retains paste-up elements "Frankenstein" and "The Monster". The paste-up for "Lives" is no longer present. Page-1 is stamped "Robert L. Jenney" with address at upper left. The verso of page-5 (the first page in which the Monster rises), is date stamped Oct 31 1962. All pages include printing notes. Pages exhibit light toning and handling with some tape remnants. A true rarity and pleasure to find the entire 32- page story from a Dell monster book. Included is a copy of the 1963 Dell comic book first printing. In Fair condition. The "Frankenstein title is loose on the first page and the "Monster" has become unglued from the first page. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
