Starfleet Security Officer's Helmet from Star Trek: The Motion Picture (Paramount, 1979). Vintage original costume helmet constructed of leather and vinyl on a cast fiberglass shell with side panels forming ear guards with a chinstrap that fastens with velcro. The interior of the helmet is lined in fitted foam and black felt for comfort of wearer. The iconic Starfleet insignia badge in crème is fastened to the front of the helmet. This style helmet was created for and worn by security officers in TMP and appeared in other Star Trek feature films. Exhibiting minor age and production wear. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions. From the Collection of Greg Jein.
