Petyr "Littlefinger" Baelish (Aidan Gillen) Cassock Coat and Dagger from Game of Thrones (HBO® Original 2011-2019, Season 3). Original (3) piece character ensemble including (1) aubergine cassock-style coat with hidden closures down the front, straight collar, and abstract gold metallic pattern throughout (with "Littlefinger" bias label), (1) silver-toned metal mockingbird pin worn at the neck crafted by the piece's original artisan, and (1) action dagger measuring 15.5" x 3", studio-crafted from high-density rubber over a wire armature, painted gray with a dark, aged finish on handle. Worn by Petyr "Littlefinger" Baelish (Aidan Gillen) in Season 3, Episode 6, "The Climb," during a scene in the throne room where he discusses creating chaos to climb Westeros' social ladder with Varys (Conleth Hill). Costume Designer Michele Clapton often used repeated patterns in Littlefinger's attire to "suggest his methodical nature and his need for order and control." Clapton explained, "We wanted his costumes to reflect his meticulous and strategic mind." Showrunner David Benioff remarked, "Littlefinger's attire was crucial in conveying his manipulative and calculated persona, which was integral to his role in the series."
