Absolutely Fabulous (BBC One TV, 1992-1996), Joanna Lumley "Patsy Stone" Chanel Ensemble from Episode "Magazine". Original (2) piece ensemble designed by Karl Lagerfeld for Chanel including (1) purple tweed suit jacket with 4-front pockets, trimmed in denim and adorned with gold-colored buttons with the "Chanel Paris" insignia on each and (1) denim pencil skirt with purple tweed trim down each outside seam with a hook and zipper closure on the back waistband. Both pieces contain a Chanel Boutique bias label that is handwritten with "Collection, 26. Style, 20724. Size, 38. Color, 14117" and also includes the fabric contents. In Season One, Episode Six "Magazine", Patsy Stone (Joanna Lumley), the Executive Fashion Director at a British fashion magazine, dons the Chanel ensemble during a meeting where she is roped into producing a makeover television segment. This outfit is a variation of a style showcased in the Chanel Fall 1991 collection runway show. Displays very minimal production wear. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
