Description

Lynyrd Skynyrd w/Ronnie Van Zant 1974 Memphis, TN Concert Poster. An original purple-on-white poster for a young Lynyrd Skynyrd playing in the legendary music city of Memphis, Tennessee on Sunday, March 3, 1974. The Southern-rock greats were just about to release their sophomore LP, Second Helping, the album that gave the world "Sweet Home Alabama" and "Workin' for MCA," plus their fiery take on JJ Cale's "Call Me the Breeze." Note how Skynyrd's logo is only a skull & crossbones at this point. Not what the band would be known for going forward, but it's a fascinating glimpse of the band transitioning into stardom. This first-time Heritage offering measures 15 ½" x 20" and grades to Near Mint Minus condition. COA from Heritage Auctions.

More Information: Has light spots of toning and some scuffing.
