Jackie Gleason And Awaaay We Go! In-House Award and Group of Vinyl Records (ca. 1950s-1970s). Vintage original in-house award for Jackie Gleason's widely popular 1954 album release, And Awaaay We Go!, which offered a combination of mood music and comedy routines featuring some of the most beloved characters from his sketch programs. Presentation display features 1- 10" "gold" version of the record, along with record sleeve showing the cover art and plaque reading, "Presented To Commemorate Worldwide Success". Measuring 25.5" x 21.75" including black frame. Lot is accompanied by 1- 12" copy of Jackie Gleason on Radio, signed by Gleason in black felt tip to front cover, 1- 10" copy of And Awaaay We Go!, 1- 7" format of And Awaaay We Go!, and 1- 7" single for Captain Gleason's Garden Band. Items exhibiting expected signs of age and wear with vinyl remaining untested and unexamined outside of sleeves. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
