DC Comics Super Heroes & Nibo Super Powers Collection The Penguin Lot of 4 (Toy Biz/Nibo, 1986-89). A quartet of Gotham's gentleman of crime, featuring two 1989 Toy Biz DC Comics Super Heroes releases alongside two 1986 Nibo Super Powers Collection versions. Though issued three years apart and by different manufacturers, all four figures share the same sculpt lineage, originally based on Kenner's Super Powers Collection design - a testament to the enduring popularity of Oswald Cobblepot's distinctive look. The Nibo editions, produced for the South American market, are especially sought after for their regional rarity and unique card art variations. All four figures exhibit moderate wear overall, including edge scuffing, corner wear, and varying degrees of creasing, veining, and surface scuffing. One Toy Biz card shows a pronounced crease running its full length. The Toy Biz figures remain factory sealed, while both Nibo examples are open due to severe bubble lifting-one completely detached-leaving the figures loose with light card residue on their backs from long-term contact. Bubbles across the lot show moderate to heavy scuffing, denting, and crushing, with some lifting allowing figure movement. Accessories for the Nibo releases have bent slightly over time.
