Milton Berle Great Showman Greater American Testimonial Dinner Plaque from Jewish Theatrical Guild of America at the Waldorf Astoria on May 3, 1952. Milton Berle honorary plaques, "TESTIMONIAL DINNER / HONORING / MILTON BERLE / FROM THE OFFICERS OF THE / JEWISH THEATRICAL GUILD OF AMERICA / WALDORF-ASTORIA" plaque "PRESENTED TO / MILTON BERLE / MAY 3, 1952 / GREAT SHOWMAN / GREATER AMERICAN / WHO HAS CONTRIBUTED / UNSELFISHLY OF HIS / TALENTS FOR / HUMANITARIAN PURPOSES / THROUGHOUT HIS / CAREER" inscribed bronzed metal circular medalion, measuring 5", and inscribed metal plaque, measuring 4-½" x 1-½", on a wooden base, measuring 11" x 11-½", by the Medallic Art Co. New York. A formidable presence at charity benefits for fifty-plus years, Berle was instrumental in raising millions for charitable causes. Very Good, with scratches and scuffing.
