Breakfast at Tiffany's (Paramount, 1961), Audrey Hepburn "Holly Golightly" Costume Sketch for the Little Black Dress by Edith Head. Vintage original costume sketch accomplished in gouache and ink on 14" x 17" artist's paper by legendary costume designer Edith Head. This iconic "little black dress" was worn during Holly's (Audrey Hepburn) first meeting with Paul (George Peppard) when he "helps" her get dressed for her trip to Sing Sing prison. Dress design features a fringed hem, and a large picture hat with long scarf completes the ensemble. Includes various production notes regarding fringe and belt. Film version perfectly matches the sketch. Unsigned. Exhibiting age, production handling with small tears at top margin and light toning. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
