Batman 8 Inch Action Figure on Kresage Card (Mego, 1973). Step into the early days of superhero action figure history with this standout first issue 8-inch Batman figure, released by Mego in 1973. A cornerstone of the World's Greatest Super Heroes line, this version of the Caped Crusader comes sealed on the original Kresge-style card, instantly recognizable by its vibrant pink backdrop and bold yellow Batman logo. The figure remains untouched inside, while the card tells a story of vintage shelf life, displaying edge and corner wear, upward bending along both sides, and pronounced creasing with surface folds in all corners. A small tear marks the upper left edge, with sticker residue and staple holes adding to the top panel's wear. The bubble shows denting, creasing along the right side, scratching, and scuffing, and has lifted from the bottom edge with visible tearing. Both side panels bow outward with more creasing.
