World's Greatest Super Heroes Batman with Removable Cowl 8 Inch Figure (Mego, 1973). Suit up for a true vintage showcase with this standout Batman lot, containing the iconic 8-inch figure with removable cowl released by Mego in 1973 as part of their legendary World's Greatest Super Heroes line. The Caped Crusader is presented in the original eye-popping pink window box, which has been previously opened but still houses the figure in what appears to be unused condition. Batman retains both his original gloves and the signature removable cowl-a hallmark feature of early Mego design. The box shows signs of age, including edge and corner wear with whitening, creasing in the upper left, and sticker residue in the upper right. Surface scratching and scuffing are visible throughout, and the clear window, though firmly attached, bears additional wear. A small surface tear on the bottom panel's back left corner adds the final touch to this bold and battle-worn piece of superhero history.
