Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Scumbug, Black-Boot Variant, AFA 85 ** POP 2 Highest-Grade ** (Playmates, 1990). Introduced in Playmates' 1990 third wave, Scumbug turned a humble exterminator into Shredder's radio-controlled roach, complete with chitinous carapace, writhing backpack hoses, and a tell-tale black left boot found only on early production. This 28-figure card remains unpunched and vibrant, its clear blister showcasing the grotesque sculpt in day-glo detail. AFA has awarded an overall 85 NM+ with subgrades of C85 B80 F85, one of just two examples to reach this tier and none graded higher, solidifying it as the finest carded Scumbug documented. A crowning upgrade for variant hunters and a must-have for anyone completing an elite vintage TMNT rogues gallery.
