FD-141 Grateful Dead 1968 Avalon Ballroom Concert Poster Graded Gem Mint 10. First-printing San Francisco concert poster for the Grateful Dead, Lee Michaels, Linn County and Texas blues singer Mance Lipscomb playing at the Avalon Ballroom on Friday through Sunday nights, October 11-13, 1968. How often do you see a Grateful Dead poster from the 60's grade to a perfect 10? What an occasion. Known as FD-141 in the Family Dog numbered series, this poster was designed by the legendary Wes Wilson, around a photo by Robert Knight. Measures 14" x 20 ¼" and has been graded an impossible-to-surpass 10 Gem Mint by CGC (the Certified Guaranty Company). COA from Heritage Auctions.
