Tombstone Territory (ZIV-TV, 1957), Early Sam Peckinpah Television-Episode Script. Vintage original studio bound and bradded 37-pg Tombstone Territory (1957) television script written by Sam Peckinpah from Andy White's story, dated December 31, 1957. On goldenrod leaves, with revisions through 1/3/58, in studio printed stiff wraps, stamped "Permanent Script File" and "1019" (for season 1, episode 19, "Johnny Ringo"). An important early screenwriting exercise in Western Americana and mythology for Sam Peckinpah, who would go on in the next decade to such classic films as One-Eyed Jacks (1961), Ride the High Country (1962), The Wild Bunch (1969), and more. Exhibiting minimal production wear, principally at upper margin of front cover from numerous closed staple holes. The poster image is for reference only and is not included with this lot.
