Greg Morris "Barney Collier" Metal Device Hand Prop, Roll of Computer Tape from Mission: Impossible (CBS TV, 1966-1973). Two props from this popular espionage show featuring an elite group of agents who infiltrate foreign governments and other national threats. The items include a small custom-made prop hand device, used by Greg Morris' character, electronics expert "Barney Collier". It is constructed of an aluminum housing, with two prominent faux front switches, and some type of internal analog meter with needle likely scavenged from a piece of period Hi-Fi. Perhaps designed for hanging with integral hook on the back, it measures 5 in. x 4 in. x 3 in.. Together with a long, thin, rolled strip of vintage computer punch tape, also utilized by "Barney Collier" in an unknown episode. Both exhibit minor wear commensurate with age and production use, but remain in very good condition.
