Description
The Brown Derby Ceramic Ashtray and Matchbook (ca. 1940). Vintage original ceramic glazed novelty ashtray measuring 5.5" round and 3.5" tall. The hollow ashtray features a brown derby perched on the lip, with a slot beneath on the outside edge, to house a book of matches. Included is a vintage partially-used book of Brown Derby matches with an image of the famed Hollywood branch of the restaurant with "422" imprinted on the interior bottom. Exhibiting light glaze crazing. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.Auction Info
