A Prop Door from "The Expendables." Lionsgate, 2010. Wood, painted gray, brass door knob, purposely distressed with knife marks and holes, huge circular hole cut from center where the 'Day of the Dead' skull dart/knife board was placed (three identical ones all with knife marks are included with this lot), bottom panel with text in white paint reading "Cheyenne," backside unpainted; seen inside "Tool's" [Mickey Rourke] tattoo shop when "Lee Christmas" [Jason Statham] practices his knife-throwing in front of the guys.

"I thought the character of Tool was kind of a traditionalist in that he was a man of history and I thought it would be unique if he was also proficient in a western sidearm. Studying quick draw artists, I came across men using pistols and getting off six shots in less than a second and a half. I put this idea into the movie by juxtaposing Tool's speed against Jason Statham's knife-throwing ability. You see this in the scene with this Cheyenne door - where they're throwing knives at it. I wanted it to be a competitive and funny situation between the two characters."
