Crimson Peak (Legendary Entertainment, 2015), Production Lighting Head for the Ghost with Baby. This ghost head was used as a lighting stand-in during production before the spectral apparition-seen floating with a baby in her arms near the end of the film-was digitally inserted in post-production. Expertly crafted from polyurethane foam with resin teeth, the piece is intricately painted in rich red hues, capturing the eerie, otherworldly presence of the film's ghosts. In Crimson Peak, Edith Cushing (Mia Wasikowska), a young woman with the ability to see the dead, encounters this ghost-a terrifying yet benevolent figure-as she uncovers the grim legacy of Baronet Thomas Sharpe (Tom Hiddleston) at his decaying estate. This ghost and her infant-spirits of one of Sharpe's murdered wives and their baby-float together in the staircase, revealing key information that helps Edith uncover Sharpe's dark secrets. The back of the head is unfinished and flat, marked with "1" in marker. Measuring 23" tall, it remains mounted on its original 12" x 13" production-used wooden base. Exhibits minor production wear.
