Coasters/5 Satins Municipal Auditorium Concert Poster (Sonny "Long Gone" Thompson presents, 1957). Rare. Window card printed on card stock for a "Fabulous All-Star Rock n' Roll Show of '57" on Thursday, Sept. 12th in Topeka, KS. The poster features images and hit songs for seven acts, including "The / Coasters / "Searchin'" "Young Blood""; "Lula Reed / "I'll Drown In My Tears""; "The 5 Satins / "To The Aisle" / "In The Still Of The Night""; "The Cellos / "Rang-Tang Ding Dong" (Japanese Sandman)"; "Gene & Eunice / "The 'Kokomo' Kids" / "Strange World""; "Billy Valentine / "My Rockin' Valentine"; and "Sonny / Thompson and his Band / "Long Gone"". Printed by "Murray Poster Printing Co....N.Y.C.". Measures 17" x 22". In Very Good condition with some restoration and touchups, mainly to corners and edges - see reverse shot, some partly visible from the front, verso inscribed in pencil "THH1 [see letter]". General wear to corners and edges, general toning.
