Description

Chuck Connors "Lucas McCain" Signature Tan Corduroy Western Tunic from The Rifleman (ABC TV, 1958-1963). "Lucas McCain" custom-made tan corduroy long-sleeve tunic was Chuck Connors' signature look in the long-running western series, The Rifleman. This style of shirt is seen in the show opening featuring the lawman shooting his trademark Winchester, as well as throughout the series. It features two front breast pockets, an inner front flap with snap closure and zip front that were concealed by the tunic's distinctive three brown fabric loops (buttons not present at the front, nor the cuffs), and two button dance strap. It has an internal Old Tucson Wardrobe ink stamp handwritten 14-113A 16-36 and another notation O.T.-53-1 handwritten above. It exhibits a small 1-inch square repair to the left of the lower front button loop, but remains in Very Good to Fine screen-used condition. Acquired from Chuck Connors' son, Jeff Connors.
