Group of Seven Personally Worn Hats. Seven hats personally owned and worn by Gregory Peck. Two hats by Lock & Co. Hatters of London, one of brown felt, the other of dark green felt. With tan leather internal headbands stamped with the hat maker's mark and Gregory Peck's initials in gold gilt. Together with an Oberwalder Viennese hat of dark brown felt and thick wound cord hatband, brown silk lining bearing the hat maker's mark, and gilt stamped internal hatband. Includes a Scott & Co. of London hat of gray-green felt with dark green silk ribbon hatband and Mr. Peck's initials stamped in gilt on the internal leather headband. Lastly a hat of gray felt with dark orange silk ribbon hat band by The London Shop with satin lining bearing the maker's mark and tan leather headband stamped in gilt. Two hats of dark gray felt with silk headbands, one of black, the other of dark green. One made by Lock & Co. and other by Scotts. Lock & Co. hat with Peck's initials in gilt on the internal headband. The hat sizes are unmarked but other hats in the sale range from 7-1/4 to 7-3/8. All show signs of use, some light stains, scuffs, and other light marks.
