Beatles/Paul McCartney and Stuart Sutcliffe Handwriting Song List and Lyrics with Two LOAs (1960/1961). This is an incredible document from the early days of the Beatles circa 1960/1961. A piece of folded paper flattened, matted, and framed features the handwriting of original Beatles bassist Stuart Sutcliffe and then-guitarist Paul McCartney. Most of this is in Stuart's writing, as he wrote a listing of songs and the lyrics to a Rick Nelson tune called "When Your Love Has Gone." Paul wrote the title of "When Your Love Has Gone" in pencil.

The song list has some additional Rick Nelson tunes ("Sweeter Than You" and "It's Late"), a couple of Elvis Presley tunes that Stuart sang live ("Love Me Tender" and "Loving You"), and a Gene Vincent tune ("Peace of Mind").

Back in 2020, McCartney's handwritten lyrics to "Hey Jude" sold for almost a million dollars. This sheet of paper was from long before that classic was put to tape.

Matted and framed to an overall 15 ½" x 19". Frame is in Very Good condition with several nicks, cracks, and scratches. The paper has several fold marks, small pin holes, soiling in various spots, and creasing. Comes with an LOA from Paul Wane at Tracks Ltd. and an LOA from Frank Caiazzo. COA from Heritage Auctions.
