Joffrey Baratheon (Jack Gleeson) Red Leather Ensemble from Game of Thrones (HBO® Original 2011-2019, Season 1). Original (2) piece character ensemble including (1) dark red leather cassock style jacket with keyhole loop fastenings and cap sleeves (with "Joffrey" bias label) and (1) black cotton shirt with matching red leather sleeves and lace-up front closure. This signature ensemble is worn by Prince Joffrey Baratheon (Jack Gleeson) in Season 1, Episode 1, "Winter is Coming" as he and his family arrive in Winterfell. Costume designer Michele Clapton wanted to establish Joffrey's character from the very beginning, using his attire to signify his high status and inherent cruelty. The costume's intricate details and luxurious materials were carefully chosen to project an image of power and entitlement.? Ensemble exhibits minor production wear.
