Description

Star Wars ESB Dagobah Action Playset AFA 80+ ** POP 2 2nd Highest Grade ** (Kenner, 1981). Few playsets pulled kids into the Star Wars saga as completely as Kenner's Dagobah. Debuting just after The Empire Strikes Back electrified theaters, it delivered Yoda's entire swamp in compact form-vine-covered trees, a cave of evil, swamp "quicksand" that swallows R2-D2, and a Force-levitation mechanism that lets Luke raise cargo crates while doing a headstand. This particular example carries the striking red Kenner logo on the side panel and has been professionally graded AFA 80+ NM. That grade tier is the 2nd highest with a population of 2 and only 6 pieces grading higher.

Beyond its innovative play features, Dagobah marked a watershed for cinematic world-building in toys: it offered the first dedicated training environment for any Star Wars figure and cemented Yoda as more than a cameo puppet-he became a full-fledged mentor children could guide through Jedi lessons of their own making. Today, high-grade boxed specimens remain elusive, as most sets were enthusiastically opened and caked in real backyard mud. Whether you collect sealed environments, focus on Luke's hero's journey, or simply want to relive the wonder of Saturdays in the backyard, this Dagobah delivers the mood, the magic, and the Force-ready to transform any vintage collection into a galaxy far, far away.
