Alien Super Soapies Kane with Facehugger Wax Sculpts (Head & Body) (Super7, 2020). Oozing retro flair with a dash of sci-fi dread, this lot contains a rare Alien Super Soakies Kane with Facehugger wax sculpt, created by legendary sculptor Scott Hensey for Super7's nostalgia-charged Super Soakies line released in 2020. Paying homage to the vintage Soakie bubble bath containers of the 60s and 70s, this early-stage prototype captures the unforgettable moment when Kane, the doomed explorer from Ridley Scott's Alien, is attacked by a facehugger mid-mission. Cast in an unpainted red-maroon wax, the sculpt presents Kane in his bulky space suit, complete with helmet detail and a facehugger clinging to his visor. The head and body are separate pieces, with a connecting peg system that mirrors the twist-off design of the final figure. Signs of handling are visible throughout, including surface scuffs and wear around the bottom edge of the head and the upper peg of the torso. This wax sculpt offers a raw, behind-the-scenes glimpse at the craftsmanship behind one of Super7's most memorable blends of horror and kitsch.

Scotty Hensey has been a professional toy sculptor since the late 1970s, with early work at TOMY on lines like Tron and The Get-Along Gang. He later sculpted villains for Playmates' Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and created figures for Hasbro, Mattel, Galoob, and McDonald's Happy Meal toys. His fast, character-driven style has shaped some of the most iconic collectibles of the past four decades.
