Collection of (46) Production and Behind the Scenes Photographs from Son of Kong (RKO, 1933). Vintage original collection of (46) gelatin silver production photos on mostly single-weight approx. 8" x 10" paper, including (2) photos of concept sketches, (25) production photos, (8) character portraits of "Carl Denham" (Robert Armstrong) and "Hilda" (Helen Mack), (11) photos of behind the scenes with crew, soundstage sets and special FX shots. Exhibiting age, handling and some wear and fading. A few photos retain keybook punches in borders and one is marked up for layout. Some photos retain studio inkstamps and snipes on the verso. Some portraits of Armstrong and Mack bear the Ernest Bachrach inkstamp on the verso. 1-production photo marked on the back by Forrest J Ackerman and James Warren for publication in Famous Monsters of Filmland magazine. Exhibiting age, handling and some wear and fading. In vintage Good to Very Good condition. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
