WWF Macho King Randy Savage Series 2 AFA 80 ** POP 1 with 4 Higher ** (Hasbro, 1991). Ohhh yeeeah! Before the robes, scepter, and royal proclamations echoed through the arena, Randy Savage laid the groundwork for his reign by conquering the 1987 King of the Ring tournament, toppling King Kong Bundy in the finals and carving out his path to wrestling royalty. Though the event was a humble live-show affair-long before it evolved into a marquee pay-per-view-its impact was undeniable. That crowning moment came to life in plastic with Hasbro's 1991 release of the "Macho King" figure, a tribute to Savage's larger-than-life persona. Clad in regal purple trunks with "Macho King" emblazoned across the back, complete with a golden crown, royal scepter, and ready to unleash his Macho Masher real wrestling action, this figure is a throne-worthy centerpiece in any classic WWF collection. Randy Savage remains sealed on a Series 2 card with unused contents. The vintage figure is encased in acrylic and graded AFA 80 NM with subgrades C80 B85 F85. Of the five graded examples, only one has received a grade of 80, with four examples grading higher.
