G.I. Joe Adventure Team Eight Ropes of Danger Adventure Pack (Hasbro, 1973). One of the more iconic accessory sets from the vintage G.I. Joe Adventure Team era, Eight Ropes of Danger (1973), outfitted Sea Adventurers for an underwater mission involving a perilous encounter with a giant octopus. Known for its vivid packaging, large window display, and dramatic artwork, this set remains a favorite among collectors for its thematic presentation and unique accessories, including the signature octopus, diving gear, and treasure chest.

This example is housed in its original Adventure Team window box, with all contents still securely fastened to the tray insert. While the box is not factory sealed, the set appears never to have been removed or played with, retaining excellent internal presentation. The window is intact, with only minor scuffing and a small 0.5" crack near the left edge
The box shows heavy edge wear from rubbing and scuffing, along with severe corner wear, particularly at the rear top right corner, which shows major crushing and compression. Surface wear is also heavy, with widespread scuffing and creasing, especially around the corners and edges, though the box still holds its structural shape and displays the classic Adventure Team branding and art clearly. Despite the packaging wear, this is a well-preserved example of one of the most memorable Adventure Team sets. With its original contents untouched and neatly displayed, Eight Ropes of Danger remains a striking addition for vintage G.I. Joe collectors, particularly those focused on boxed accessory sets and early 1970s Adventure Team releases.
