Claude King's Signed and Owned Squier by Fender Acoustic Electric Guitar, Serial #CD06022816.
"Well first of all, I grew up in Shreveport, LA. Claude King's hometown and went to high school with Claude King's son Jarome King, he was also the drummer in Claude King's band.
I was the Piano player for Claude King and The Cotton Dan Band from 1980 to 1987. I moved to the Houston area in 1994 and pursued other interests in Business. I owned a Night Club in the Houston area and Claude King performed there in 2001. I was also the Piano player that night with his son, Jarome King on Drums, Robin Vosbury and Bill Parish and Buddy C. I was asked to work with Claude King once again when he was inducted to the Walk Of Fame in Shreveport, LA. in .
Claude King and I became very close in his later years, writing songs together and recording together. We traveled to Nashville for CK to appear on The Grand Ole Opry again in 2008 as Bill Anderson's guest. We were also promoting the New Album. I produced The Cajun Cowboy in 2007. Claude King's Wolverton Mountain was also recorded by some of the nations top artist; Bing Crosby, Nat King Cole, Hank Williams Jr. and many more.

He used this guitar on recordings and on stage various time. I bought the Guitar for him as a gift because he wanted a lighter electric guitar for stage. We picked it out together at Shreveport Music Co in Shreveport, LA.

When he made the decision to retire once and for all for health reasons in 2012. He Invited me and a friend over to his home in Shreveport, LA for a catfish dinner. He was proud because he caught them on his private pond. That night he wanted to give the guitar back to me as a gift of remembrance on June 8, 2012.
He signed the guitar twice; once in a regular marker and once again with a gold permanent marker. I was honored to have received the gift. His son Jarome was a witness to this as well. It took place on his back porch patio."
Also included with this guitar is a Louisiana Jamboree Tribute poster signed by Claude King.
Fender Hard case included. Condition: Good.
