1961 Nu-Card Horror Monsters Series 2 - BBCE Sealed Wax Box .
Offered is a rare sealed wax box from the 1961 Nu-Card Horror Monsters. Released during the height of early 1960s "monster mania," this vintage non-sport set features black-and-white film stills of classic horror icons and creatures, paired with humorous monster-themed jokes on the reverse--a blend of fright and fun that captured the era's fascination with classic movie monsters. Nu-Card released two distinct series in 1961, differentiated by green and orange borders. This box has been identified by BBCE as a Series 2 issue, which remains significantly scarcer than the first series in unopened form. This box has light wear to the edges and corners. There is some creasing on the top side, as well as a tear on the front side. The overall condition is Very Good. It has been authenticated and sealed by Steve Hart-Baseball Card Exchange.
