1962 Topps Mars Attacks - #21 Prize Captive - PSA 6 .
The 1962 Topps Mars Attacks set features 55 cards, each measuring 2-1/2" wide by 3-1/2" high. The card fronts of these cards showcase vivid and startlingly graphic color illustrations depicting humans enduring a myriad of violent fates, including being incinerated, crushed, vaporized, and subjected to other forms of harm. The story behind these events is detailed on the reverse side of each card. Known for its distinct portrayal of violence and gore, the Topps Mars Attacks collection is recognized as one of the most sought-after collections in the non-sports card collecting community.

Offered in this lot is card #21 Prize Captive, which is one of the most coveted cards in this set. The card features a visiting Martian holding a female earthling against her will. However, in the end, she was able to escape. As the card back describes: "The girl kicked and screamed at the touch of the alien. The Martian was so startled by the woman's antics, that he released her. Taking the opportunity, the girl fled." PSA has certified 106 copies earning an EX-MT 6 grade with 183 graded higher.
