1991 Impel Marvel Universe Series 2 - 9 Original Trading Card Sketches all signed by Art Adams (Death's Head, Ghost Rider, Dr. Strange, Wolverine, Hulk x 2, Captain America, Spider-Man, and Doctor Doom) .
Following the tremendous success of the inaugural 1990 Marvel Universe trading card release, Impel introduced Series 2 in 1991, expanding the set to 162 cards featuring a comprehensive roster of Marvel's most iconic characters. The set included not only individual heroes and villains, but also team profiles, weapons, rookies, arch-enemies, and legendary matchups. A six-card hologram subset added to the innovation, with one card even offered in autographed form.

Presented here is a rare and remarkable collection of 9 original pencil sketches created for various cards in the 1991 Marvel Universe Series 2 set - each rendered by acclaimed comic book artist Art Adams.

Each sketch is executed in graphite on Marvel-branded illustrator paper, measuring approximately 4.875" x 3.25", and individually signed by Art Adams. These are the original working designs created during the development of the card series - not reproductions or recreations - offering a direct glimpse into the pre-production artistry behind one of Marvel's most celebrated trading card sets.

The artwork is professionally mounted in a custom frame measuring 31.125" x 23", ideal for display. Eight of the nine printed cards are included for reference, with the exception of the Hulk #53 card, which is not present.
