1993 Skybox The Return of Superman - Sealed Box - 36 Packs .
Released on August 25th, 1993, The Return of Superman Trading Cards was a follow-up to the 1992 set Doomsday: The Death of Superman. This set's name is a reference to the 1933 story "The Reign of Superman" by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster. The base set, consisting of 100 cards, features reprint artwork from "The Reign of the Supermen!" and "Better Than Ever" comic storylines. Along with the base set, there was a gold foil puzzle card set, as well as special cards that came with the factory set binder. Offered in this lot is a sealed box from this set! It contains 36 packs with 8 cards each, for a total of 288 cards. The box has light wear to the corners and edges with the original Skybox wrapping intact. There are a few creases on the box and a couple of holes in the wrapping. There is a blunted spot along the top edge of the top side of the box. The overall condition is Very Good.
