Tommy & Jimmy Dorsey 1953 Terrytown, NE Concert Poster. An original cardboard window card advertising the legendary Dorsey Brothers - Tommy and Jimmy - appearing in Terrytown, Nebraska on Tuesday, September 15, 1953.

"Those Fabulous Dorseys" was no exaggeration on this poster. They played a huge role in providing America's musical soundtrack for World War II. The Dorsey Brothers' legend from the 1930's and 40's is just untouchable.

This tour was their last great hurrah. Tommy passed away just three years after this, and Jimmy followed him by one year.

This window card features the distinctive venue box up top that the Terrytown Arena was known for. No less than a five-color poster (black, yellow, red, blue and white) that surely grabbed the attention of every set of eyes that walked past it.

Measures 14" x 21 3/4" and grades to Near Mint Minus condition, with just a couple of small creases in the upper left corner, and toning throughout, especially around the four margins. COA from Heritage Auctions.
