Hollywood Star Picture Album from Photographer Irv Steinberg. A collection of 253 b&w 2.5" x 3.5" photos representing a virtual who's who of Hollywood stars and players taken on the streets of New York City, most in late 1948, by Irv Steinberg. Leading men such as Henry Fonda, Jimmy Stewart, Spencer Tracy, Cary Grant, Burt Lancaster, Alan Ladd, Frank Sinatra, David Niven, Ray Milland, Dick Powell, William Powell, Anthony Quinn, and George Sanders; leading ladies such as Mae West, Maria Montez, Lizbeth Scott, Ethel Merman, Merle Oberon, Carmen Miranda, Ilona Massey, Mary Pickford, and Jane Russell; character actors such as Bela Lugosi, Peter Lorre, Una Merkel, Raymond Massey, Gale Sondergaard, and Arthur Treacher; musical stars such as Dinah Shore and Bill "Bojangles" Robinson; and many, many more. There are also some shots taken circa 1960 of such stars as Stephen Boyd and Julie Newmar, as well as shots from that era of "vintage" stars such as Marlene Dietrich. The pictures are in a handsome dark blue 10" x 15" album, and the entire lot is in Excellent condition.
