Description

Marilyn Monroe Iconic A New Wrinkle Limited Edition Photo Portrait by Tom Kelley. This gorgeous photo of a 22-year-old Marilyn Monroe nude against red velvet was taken by legendary portrait photographer Tom Kelley in cramped Los Angeles studio on May 27, 1949. Neither Kelley nor the soon-to-be-superstar then known as Norman Jean Taylor knew it was a pop culture moment in the making. The two-hour session produced a series of photos that sold millions of pin-up calendars worldwide, boosted Monroe's image as a sex symbol, and would become the first Playboy centerfold just a few years later. This large glossy color 30" x 39" print is signed by Kelley in silver felt tip, and is in Excellent condition. Accompanied by a COA from Kelley.
