Mark Hellinger's Personal They Drive by Night Scripts. Included are Hellinger's personal copy of the final draft script for the 1940 noir classic, dated April 18, 1940, 142 pages plus added revision pages, with handwritten notations throughout by Jack Warner to Hellinger regarding Breen Office-related script changes; and Hellinger's hardbound keepsake copy of the screenplay, dated April 20, 1940, 146 pages, with his name embossed on the cover and movie review clippings pasted on the front flyleaf and free pages. The final draft is in Fine to Very Fine condition with some wear to the cover; the hardbound copy is in Very Fine condition with some moisture damage to the front cover.
