John Wayne Autographed Rooster Cogburn Photo. A great vintage b&w 8" x 10" promo photo of Wayne as U. S. Marshal Reuben J. "Rooster" Cogburn in the 1975 sequel to True Grit, inscribed, dated 1976, and signed by Wayne in black ink. Plans for a third Rooster Cogburn movie never materialized, as Wayne made only one more movie, The Shootist, before succumbing to cancer in 1979. The photo is in Very Fine to Excellent condition. Accompanied by James Spence Authentication auction LOA.
