Michael Jackson Off the Wall In-House Multi-Platinum Sales Award to Mayor Tom Bradley. Presented to former Los Angeles mayor Tom Bradley by Epic Records to commemorate the sale of more than four million copies of the 1979 LP. Jackson's fifth studio album, it marked a departure from his prior Motown sound, and featured collaborations with producer Quincy Jones and singer-songwriters Paul McCartney, Stevie Wonder, and Rod Temperton. The award features four mounted platinum discs along with a dedication plaque and small album cover reproduction. It is framed to an overall size of 25" x 31" and in Very Fine condition with mild wear to the frame and some scratching to the glass, easily restored or replaced. Previously featured in The Jacksons auction (2007) at Guernsey's.
