George Jones Owned/Worn Nudie Suit (1970s). The King of Country Music, meet the King of Rhinestone! This stunning suit is actually pretty tame compared to many of the Nudie's commissioned and worn by such stars as Elvis, Roy Rogers and Dale Evans, Porter Waggoner, Elton John, Liberace, the members of ZZ Top, and scores of other musicians and actors. But it's still uniquely Nudie, with its sterling silver buttons and buckles right on the suit. George Jones never looked more dapper than in the posed photo gracing the cover of his 1977 album The Best of George Jones, a copy of which is included. Now if you could just find the boots George is wearing in the photo! LOA from Jamie Nudie, granddaughter of Nudie Cohn and Owner of Nudie's Rodeo Tailors.
