Buddy Holly and the Crickets The Buddy Holly Story Gold Record Award (Coral 57279, 1959). The plaque below the gold record states "For Your Contribution in Making the Long Playing Album 'The Buddy Holly Story' a Million Seller." The album was produced just months after the death of Buddy Holly. Framed to an overall size of 17" x 17", and in Excellent condition. This award was part of a large collection that was displayed in the lobby of the California Gold Record Company and was obtained after the company was sold.
